NHEG’s STRATEGIC AIMS
- To deliver life story presentations as an enrichment resource to programmes of Holocaust education, in order to counter antisemitism and all forms of discrimination and to ensure that the Northern regions of England have access to high quality Holocaust education.
To provide a network of accredited speakers in order to present the stories of those who lived through Nazi persecution and the Holocaust, ensuring that all presentations are delivered in an engaging and impactful way.
To create a support structure for the development and delivery of high quality presentations. These presentations might include, but are not restricted to, personal or family testimony; oral or visual testimony; historical or personal photographs or film. Presentations will encompass the experiences of those who lived through Nazi persecution before, during and after the Holocaust.
To set quality standards for presentations to ensure historical accuracy, appropriateness and relevance.
